Kasih Terbesar
“Tidak ada kasih yang lebih besar dari pada kasih seorang yang memberikan nyawanya untuk sahabat-sahabatnya…”
Pada suatu siang, sebuah peluru mortir mendarat di sebuah panti asuhan di sebuah perkampungan kecil Vietnam. Seorang petugas panti asuhan dan dua orang anak langsung tewas, beberapa anak lainnya terluka, termasuk seorang gadis kecil yang berusia sekitar 8 tahun.
Christian Buddha
One of master Gasan’s monks visited the university in Tokyo. When he returned, he asked the master if he had ever read the Christian Bible.
“No,” Gasan replied, “Please read some of it to me.”
The monk opened the Bible to the Sermon on the Mount in St. Matthew, and began reading. After reading Christ’s words about the lilies in the field, he paused. Master Gasan was silent for a long time.
“Yes,” he finally said, “Whoever uttered these words is an enlightened being. What you have read to me is the essence of everything I have been trying to teach you here!”

Nilai Sepuluh Bagi Tina
“Tina, cewek berusia 17 tahun, Ia ramah, dan selalu menebar senyum ceriahnya. Tapi, Tina adalah seorang penderita “cerebral palsy”, sejenis kelainan tubuh, dimana beberapa bagian otot-otot tubuhnya kaku dan lumpuh. Karena kelainan ini pula, ia mengalami kesulitan untuk berbicara. Ia harus menggunakan alat bantu untuk menerobos hiruk-pikunya lorong sekolah.
Orang-orang agak enggan berbicara dengannya, mengapa ? Entahlah, mungkin karena ia kelihatan ‘berbeda’ dan siswa-siswa tidak tahu atau canggung untuk mendekatinya. Tetapi Tina adalah orang yang ramah. Ia tidak pernah bosan berkata “Hai” dengan orang-orang yang ditemuinya di lorong.
Kindness
“One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry. He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door.
Instead of a meal, he asked for a drink of water. She thought he looked hungry and so she brought him a large glass of milk. He drank it slowly, and then asked, “How much do I owe you?”
Love Stung ?
“There was this Hindu who saw a scorpion floundering around in the water. He decided to save it by stretching out his finger, but the scorpion stung him. The man still tried to get the scorpion out of the water, but the scorpion stung him again.
A man nearby told him to stop saving the scorpion that kept stinging him.
But the Hindu said: “It is the nature of the scorpion to sting. It is my nature to love. Why should I give up my nature to love just because it is the nature of the scorpion to sting?”
“Don’t give up loving
Don’t give up your goodness.
Even if people around you sting.”
Anjing Cerdas
Seorang tukang daging heran ketika melihat ada anjing yang masuk ke tokonya, dia beberapa kali mencoba mengusir anjing itu, tetapi beberapa kali juga anjing itu selalu kembali lagi ke tokonya.
“Dengan penuh tanda tanya, akhirnya tukang daging tersebut mulai mendekati dan mengamati anjing tersebut.
